When you reply to a message in a group chat, your reply is threaded with the original. Threaded messages show an indicator icon.

- Open the chat.
- Tap on or around the message to open Message Actions.
- Tap Reply.
Android
- Open the chat.
- Tap on or around the message to open Message Actions.
- Tap Reply.
Web
- Open the chat.
- Click the arrow icon (v) next to the message to open Message Actions.
- Click Reply.

- Tap the Thread icon on a threaded message.
Android
- Tap the Thread icon on a threaded message.
Web
- Click the Thread on a threaded message.
- To answer the sender one-on-one instead, use Reply Privately to sender in Message Actions.
