Forward a message to another chat

Pass a message to another person or group without copying and pasting.

iPhone

  1. Open the chat.
  2. Tap the edge of the colored message box to open Select Your Action.
  3. Tap Forward Message. The Contacts screen opens.
  4. Tap the contact or group to forward to.

Android

  1. Open the chat.
  2. Tap the edge of the colored message box to open Select Your Action.
  3. Tap Forward Message. The Contacts screen opens.
  4. Tap the contact or group to forward to.

Web

  1. Open the chat.
  2. Click the arrow icon (v) next to the message to open Message Actions.
  3. Click Forward this message. The Contacts screen opens.
  4. Click the contact or group to forward to.
  • A forwarded message shows a forwarded indicator icon next to it.
