Favorite chats sit at the top of your Recents screen on mobile and in the Favorites bar on the web. You can hide chats you are done with and set how long before inactive chats are archived.

- Open the chat.
- Tap the person's or group's name at the top.
- Turn Mark as Favorite on or off.
Android
- Open the chat.
- Tap the person's or group's name at the top.
- Turn Mark as Favorite on or off.

- Open the chat.
- Click the person's or group's name at the top.
- Turn Mark as Favorite on or off.

- On the Recents screen, swipe right on a chat.
- Tap FAV.

Show favorites in a grid
On the web

- From the Buzz home screen dashboard, open the ≡ menu.
- Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
- Scroll down to Interface.
- Turn Show Favorites in a Grid View on or off.
Hide a chat
iPhone
- On the Recents screen, swipe right on a chat.
- Tap Hide.
Android
- On the Recents screen, swipe right on a chat.
- Tap Hide.
Web
- On the Recents screen, click the x to the left of the chat.
Set when chats are archived
iPhone
- Tap the ☰ menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Chat Archive Time and choose a time.
Android
- Tap the ☰ menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Chat Archive Time and choose a time.
Web
- From the Buzz home screen dashboard, open the ≡ menu.
- Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
- Click Change next to Chat Archive Time.
- A hidden chat comes back as soon as someone sends a new message in it.
- Chats are archived after 30 days by default.
- Hiding or archiving a chat does not delete its messages.
