Change how Buzz looks and reads

Make text easier to read and set the theme and wallpaper you like.

Change text size, theme, wallpaper and animations in Settings.

Start here

iPhone

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Custom Fonts.
  4. Choose a font, or tap Size to change the text size.

Android

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Custom Fonts.
  4. Choose a font, or tap Size to change the text size.

Web

  1. On the Home screen Dashboard, click ☰.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
  3. Scroll down to Interface.
  4. Click Change next to Current Display Font Size.

Choose a theme

iPhone

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Preferred Interface Style and choose a theme.

Android

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Preferred Interface Style and choose a theme.

Web

  1. On the Home screen Dashboard, click ☰.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
  3. Scroll down to Interface.
  4. Click Bold next to Display Theme.

Change your wallpaper

iPhone

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Home Screen Layout.
  4. Tap WP to see the wallpapers.
  5. Tap a wallpaper.
  6. Tap the back arrow.

Android

  1. Tap the ☰ Burger Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Home Screen Layout.
  4. Tap WP to see the wallpapers.
  5. Tap a wallpaper.
  6. Tap the back arrow.

Web

  1. On the Home screen Dashboard, click ☰.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
  3. Scroll down to Interface.
  4. Click Select next to Home Wallpaper or Conversation Wallpaper.

Change the wallpaper from a chat

On the web

  1. In a chat, hover over the icons at the top right and click Customize View.
  2. Click Wallpaper.
  3. Choose a background wallpaper.

Turn off animations

  1. On the Home screen Dashboard, click ☰.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the upper right.
  3. Scroll down to Interface.
  4. Turn Minimize Animations on.
  • On your phone, pinch in a chat or on Recents to make text smaller, or spread your fingers to make it bigger.
  • Touch and hold a message to see it in a larger font.
  • Customize View in a chat also opens Quick Messages.
  • Minimizing animations can help Buzz respond faster on a slow connection.
