This is the BEST medical dictionary I have used. I have been doing medical transcription for 8 years and this is the only dictionary I use now. In the beginning, I tried other dictionaries but this one was far superior to any of the others.

I am currently taking my prerequisites for nursing school and this dictionary is a lifesaver! it has tabs on the side to make it easier to find what you are looking for and even has a lot of pictures throughout.

I work as an EMT and this really helps to build on your medical knowledge. It goes into the Who what, when, how, why of a disease or infection. It has abbreviations so you can quickly translate it if you dont know what the full name of something means. I bought the dictionary at a good price. Page are super thin but has nice pics and explanations. The mobile app came free for a year with my dictionary and I end up using that more on the field since I dont want to destroy my book. Im going to buy the mobile app at this point. It app should however let you use it for your tablet or phone since I use both. It only allows one or the other. Overall your not wasting your money. Great investment
