This book is AMAZING for nursing students! Other students have looked through this book of mine and then purchased their own, because you can look up any lab value, and then reasons why it might be high, reasons why it might be low, dangerous levels, symptoms related to being high or low, nursing implications on how to correct it or just implications to watch out for with patients with these lab values. Also, this company provides the one year online access with the purchase of this book! So i am able to go to the website from my computer or phone and just type in the lab name and get all of the information without having to flip through my book. Its AWESOME!!!!!!!

Awesome Reference

This book is perfect to look up that odd lab value and make sense of the whole picture. It is organized beautifully and makes finding a particular test value easy to find and understand. As a new nurse, it really helped me to understand and peice together what is happening in my patient so I can aticipate treatment and give them the best care possible.

Great Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests Reference Book!

I like this book because it explains the tests results and relate to several diseases and medications that could alter the results. My favorite is the Nursing Implications which make this book an excellent reliable nursing resource reference. Excellent choice for clinical instructors and nursing students. I am very pleased with this book. I am a clinical instructor and I use this book to check my students interpretations and I use to explain what they miss.

Excellent book, would highly recommend

Really good book. I purchased a different one previously, and then got the Pagana and Pagana on my Nook. This book is by far the best, I struggled looking for test results last year using the other two books purchased but everything has been super easy to find in this book. I am in my final year of nursing school and this book has been completely worth it, I wish I bought it a couple of years ago!
