Finding Related Topics

While researching a topic, it is often important to view additional content related to that topic. In addition, you may need to perform a calculation or utilize other clinical tools. For this reason, Skyscape includes a "See Also" feature, allowing you to quickly and easily review related subject matter. Simply, go to the menu. If related topics or tools exist, you will find a "See Also" tab and an "eye" icon. Tap on the tab and view a list of related topics and tools.

Unhiding the Bottom Navigation on the iPhone

You never have to leave the Skyscape application to go back to the last screen or Skyscape home screen. Skyscape navigation includes a “back button, home tab, as well as links to our store, MedAlert™ notifications, updates and more. When conducting a search, however, the navigation becomes obscured by the keyboard. To hide the keyboard and resume using the lower navigation, simply tap on the “Cancel” tab to the right of the search box at the top.

You Can Easily Adjust the Text Size on Your Andriod

You can adjust the text size while reading the information in a resource. Just double-tap on the screen and you can select big, huge, normal, small, or tiny as your text size.

You can easily resume any search using the History tab.

All you have to do is go to the History tab and locate your search. You may also clear your history at any time with the Clear button.

You can quickly and easily get an outline view of topic sections within Skyscape resources

You don't have to scroll through screens of sub-sections within topic sections to find the answers you need. Simply, click on the little red and blue arrow icon to the left of sub-section titles, and go directly to an outline view where you can choose just the selection you need.

With the newly released iPhone reader v 1.9.4, you can bookmark topics

Simply go to the topic you want to bookmark and tap the ‘History’ tab at the bottom of the screen. Tap ‘Add Bookmark’ and confirm. You can always update and edit your bookmarks later by going back to the 'History' tab.

Keyboard shortcut for iPhone

If you alternate between the 2 keyboards (AZ and 123) a lot then you can save some typing by keeping the 123 pressed when you select that keyboard and dragging your finger to the chosen number or punctuation mark. Then let go and you will be returned to the AZ keyboard.

"In the Settings, you can change the behavior of your Escape or Back key. It can either work as a back-stack, or it can close the current window. Default is set up to use a back-stack. Click on Menu key on the Home Screen and then click on Settings. On the right, you will have an option to choose between ""Go Back"" and ""Close Window"". Select ""Close Window"" if you want to change the default."

You can use the space-bar to scroll screen-fulls at a time. It will automatically go to the next section in a topic. You can also scroll screen-fulls by pressing the key while using the thumbwheel or trackball. To scroll screen-fulls in the index or TOC, press the key whole using the thumbwheel or trackball.

You can share URLs right from your iPhone

If you want to send the URL of a web page you're viewing to a friend, tap the Address Bar, then tap Share. A new email message containing the URL will open. Just choose recipients, add a note and tap Send. Send a friend the Skyscape URL!

You can load the last resource you used on the start up of your BlackBerry

If you want to go back to where you stopped last time you can change the settings in the Skyscape BlackBerry Reader. Click on Menu key on the Home Screen and then click on Settings. Check "Load last Skyscape resource at startup". By default this is not enabled.
