   Buzz Newsroom — /preview/assets/newsroom.css
Loads AFTER article.css. Adds the release furniture (kicker, dateline,
at-a-glance box, boilerplate, contact block) and the newsroom index.
Literal colors, same palette and linter reasons as article.css.

HEADLINE FONT (2026-10-08): Rajdhani 600, the Buzz app typeface, replaces
Roboto Slab 300 on Newsroom pages only. The @import above stays the first
rule; this file is served by Zeus, not pasted into the WordPress
Customizer. Short headlines only: Rajdhani is condensed, so the lead
paragraph and pull quotes move to Nunito instead. article.css and
/brand/skyscape.css are untouched until the rest of the site follows.

BODY FONT (2026-10-18): Nunito added to the @import, and set explicitly on
the index intro and the filter buttons. The @import carried Rajdhani only,
so every 'Nunito' reference in this file resolved to the generic sans
fallback. The intro declared no family at all and the buttons used
font:inherit, so both kept the Roboto Slab the headline override was
written to retire. Index pages show the two together, which is why the
serif was visible there and not on the articles.

LINKED HEADLINES (2026-10-18): a linked index headline now carries the
link color. It used to inherit the heading navy and drop its underline,
so a headline that opened a story and a headline that went nowhere were
identical until the pointer crossed them. Only some items have a page
behind them, so the color is the signal for which ones do.

MASTHEAD LABEL (2026-10-18): the word beside the logo in .pg-top gets an
explicit family. article.css styles that span's size, weight, tracking,
case and color but never its family, and body sets none either, so it
fell through to the browser default serif and rendered in Times beside a
sans logo. The override lives here rather than in article.css because
that file is written to survive being pasted into the WordPress
Customizer, and this is a Zeus-only chrome concern.

CHIP AND PILL RADIUS (2026-10-18): the index filter buttons now take the
house spine radius, 6px 12px 12px 6px, and the Bulletin and Spotlight
pills in .nr-kicker take the 6px button radius. Both were full 999px
pills, which the page design system retires for chips, tags and filter
labels. Written as literal values rather than the --r-chip and --r-btn
custom properties, for the same linter reason as the colors above. The
status chips on the index keep their pill shape and are unchanged.

   HEADLINE SIZE (2026-10-26, owner-approved): .pg h1 goes from a fixed 48px
   (34px under 600px) to clamp(28px,3vw,40px), the same article-title size
preview-system.css now gives blog posts and the Newsroom release pages,
so every Newsroom page and every post title matches. Literal px, as the
rest of this file. The 600px override is dropped; the clamp floor covers
   it.
