1. Soft reset the device.
2. Connect the pocket pc.
3. Remove any residual files from previous installation attempts
• From the device, click Start | Settings | System | Remove Programs
• Go to Start | Programs | File Explorer and check for any folders from the program.
• Delete if any are present.
4. On the desktop pc, go to C:\Skyscape\<Program Name>Ce (ex. Tabers21ce)\Version\Install
5. Here you will only see two reader cab files. Select the file name SetupReaderPOC.arm.cab for a Pocket PC and the SetupReaderWSP.arm.cab for the SmartPhone.   Right click on the correct file and select copy.
6. On the desktop pc, open Windows Mobile Device Center.
7. Click File Management.
8. And Browse the contents of your device and then double click on the SD card folder.
9. Right-Click Paste in this folder
10. Go back to the device and tap on Start | Programs | File Explorer.
11. Tap on the SD Card folder and you will see the SetupReaderPOC.arm.cab file that you just copied over.
12. Tap on the CAB file and you will be asked to select the installation location and install the files.
13. This will make the icon appear however tapping on it will result in the error message "data files not found" Proceed to the next section to install the data files.

1. On a Windows Mobile 5.0 device, the data files need to be copied into the same location as the Reader file that was  installed in the first section. You have to locate this reader file first to be certain of it's installation location. On the device tap on Start | Programs | File Explorer | SD Card (if installed to this location) | Program Files | Skyscape | <Program Name> (i.e. Tabers21) and confirm that you see the file name there. It will be shown as the product name.
2. On the desktop pc, go to C | Skyscape | <Program Name>Ce (ex. Tabers21ce) | Install | Data Files
3. Right click the Data Files Folder and select copy.
4. On the desktop pc, open Windows Mobile Device Center.
5. Click File Management.
6. Browse the contents of your device
7. Follow the same path to the exe file (i.e. SD Card | Program Files | Skyscape | Tabers21)
8. Right Click and Paste the Data Folder here
9. Test the program

NOTE:  If when pasting the Data Folder on the SD Card you receive a message "the file 'splash.htm' may be copied to the devide for storage or transport use only.  It is not supported on the device itself.  Copy Anyway?  Answer 'Yes To All'
