Q: How to register a Skyscape product to get my unlock code?
A: Windows PC registration process

Automated process

  1. Connect your PC to the internet.
  2. Install the product on your device if it is not installed already.
  3. Double click on the "My Skyscape" icon on your Desktop to open it.  Left click on the tab that matches the operating system of your PDA - Palm or W-Mobile (PocketPC).  Find the program you are registering and click on it; then click on the Register link.
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts, enter the serial number for your product and synchronize your device.
  5. Connect your handheld device to your desktop PC and insert the SD card.
Manual process

  1. Open product you installed you will be prompted with an Unlock screen.
  2. Write down the Device ID as it is listed on the unlock screen
  3. Log onto http://www.skyscape.com/register. If you downloaded the software from this website, logon as existing customer otherwise register as a new customer. It is very important that your email address be current because your unlock code and update information will be emailed to the email address in the Skyscape database.  This information is not shared.
  4. Enter the unique serial number when prompted (see the back of brochure).
  5. Enter device ID when prompted to generate unlock code.
  6. Enter Unlock code into handheld unlock screen.
Macintosh product registration

    1. Open product you installed you will be prompted with an Unlock screen.
