Q: How to remove the Smart Update?
A:
  1. Right click on the Smart Update icon in your tool tray and choose Exit.
  2. To delete the program go to Control Panel - Add/Remove programs.  Find Smart Update in the list and click on it;  then choose Remove.
  3. Open My computer.
  4. Double Click on your C drive.
  5. Double click on your Program Files folder.
  6. Double click on your Common Files Folder.
  7. Double click on the Skyscape folder.
  8. Locate Smart Update.exe.
  9. Right click on it and choose delete.
  10. To update your products in the future please visit: http://www.skyscape.com/updates/home.asp  
NOTE: Removing the Smart Update utility will prevent you from receiving product updates automatically when they are released.
