Q:
Why does Skyscape lock its content?
A:
Skyscape uses industry standard security measures to protect its products and the content of its publishing partners against theft. Skyscape has found that using encryption allows it to best secure its products. However, Skyscape does want its customers to be able to view the indices and Table of Contents of its solutions so that they can best select a product for purchase. Since Skyscape medical references include the trusted content of world wide publishers, most medical practitioners are familiar with the content available from the text books and view content only to see how it is displayed and how easy it is to use and find on a handheld device.
