How do I install Skyscape products using the Palm Install Tool?

Skyscape products can be installed to expansion memory using the steps below:

Windows desktop

Go to the Start Menu.
Choose Programs.
Choose Palm Desktop.
Choose Install Tool. You can also launch the Install Tool by running your Palm Desktop software and clicking on the Install button. An Install Tool window will open.
Select your HotSync user name from the list.
Click the Add button, which will launch an Open. window. By default, it will be looking in the "addon" folder.
Move to the folder which has the files you want to add. Ex: C:\Skyscape\Productname\version\Palm Install files. (C:\Skyscape\Archimedes\7.0.50\Palm Install Files)
Select the product and smART files. (Single click on one file, press CTRL A to select the rest).
Change destination on the PDB files only. NOTE: if you are installing a Constellation product, like ACC Guidelines or ACPPieror RN Constellation, the product PDB (ex: RNconstl.pdb, ACC.pdb or ACPPier.pdb) must be installed to the main memory all other PDBs can be installed to the expansion memory.
HotSync your device with the expansion memory. inserted in the device. The files that you added to the Install Tool will be installed.

Macintosh desktop

Open the Palm desktop (ex: Click on Go menu | Choose Applications | Choose Palm | Choose Palm Desktop – if you didn’t install the Palm desktop into Applications then you won’t find it here).
Click on the HotSync® pull down menu at the top of the Palm Desktop software.
Choose “Install handheld files” from the menu that appears.
Verify the “User id” is the same as your Hotsync ID.
Open the Skyscape (ex: 5mincc) folder on your desktop – this is the folder created when you downloaded the 5mincc.zip file.
Change the view to a list view – click on the icon with 3 lines to change to list view.
Click on the first file in the list.
Hold the shift key on your keyboard and click on the Last file in the list.
Verify all files are selected and drag and drop them into the “Install Handheld Files” window.
If the product you are installing has images then do this step, if not skip to step 12.
If you wish to install 5mincc with images then remove the 5mincc-noimg.pdb. Please note that the installation with images requires 9MB of memory so be sure that you have enough memory.
To install the PDBs to the memory card then click the “Change Destination button” – select only the files that end in PDB to move to the expansion memory. The files that end in .PRC must stay on the main handheld memory.
Click OK out of Change destination window.
HotSync your device.
