During my downtime at the hospital I regularly review the channels on Skyscape’s ARTbeat platform. MedWatch is one of my favorites, as it provides me with frequent updates from the FDA about drug and medical safety issues. Recently, I was reading about a rheumatoid arthritis medication called Remicade, and it made me think about one of my patients who is suffering from that disease.

Thanks to the MedWatch channel on ARTbeat, I made a note to review hischart and consider this drug as an alternative to his current treatment.
