Last summer my Palm proved invaluable for me in remote Mexico where I volunteered at an orphanage primarily serving the poor native Indian peoples. I was able to obtain just the right information I needed from the "5 Minute Clinical Consult" program. This program gave me current, timely information about many of the illnesses we saw.

We used tons of drug samples and some Mexican medications. My Palm programs were again invaluable as I was able to look up medications I normally rarely used and determined what the appropriate pediatric dose was. When I went over with the receiving doctor what was needed to stabilize and prepare this child for transport, I was pleasantly surprised that we had already done everything he suggested!
